Some new artwork

With the focus (and space on my hard drive) dedicated to my recent programming projects, there hasn’t been much time for me to work on any of my normal art projects. Yesterday I decided that I needed to change this, and started reinstalling some of my art tools.

Here are a new sketch I put together. Meet Οκτώ.

I’ve also finished the edits for the trilogy. There were a number of scenes from The Light Rail that really bothered me, to the point it’s been holding up the rest of the process. The protagonist was just too crass describing some specific situations, and while the scenes were necessary for the plot, the way he related his experience was highly inappropriate.

So, I had to cut, rewrite, and completely change the tone several times over, until the reserved protagonist we see in the later novels is more visible in the current one. Yeah, he’s relatively immature in the book, but there was still a better way to go about it.

Anyway, the wind is -really- picking up and the lights flickered as I was typing this, so I’m going to go ahead and publish. Have a good week, everyone!
